How transport unlocks work

Major movement upgrades in Big Walk usually follow the same loop: find a control panel, complete nearby puzzles for red panel pieces, take the golden key, run it through key cutters, then use the shaped key on the lock.

ScreenHype's launch guides document this pattern for the Crosswalk, Map Room, trains, chairlift and Yellow Tunnel. This page summarizes the route order without replacing the deeper puzzle index.

Unlock checklist

Use this table when your group wants to know where the next route opens. Exact puzzle steps are indexed on the Puzzle Solutions page.

Key cutters

After a control-panel key is released, it usually will not fit the lock immediately. ScreenHype repeatedly notes that nearby key cutters shave the key into the correct shape and reveal arrows pointing to the next cutter.

The safe rule is simple: after every cut, look at the top of the cutter, follow the arrow, and do not run ahead with the key before the group agrees on the next landmark.

Train notes

ScreenHype reports three trains: red, yellow and green. After unlocking, they loop in a fixed direction, and a lever in the first carriage can be held to stop the train.

Radio transmitters also appear in the back carriage of all three trains, which makes the train loop useful for regrouping separated players.

Spoiler boundary

This page names unlocks and coordinates. Full per-puzzle logic belongs in the Puzzle Solutions index so players who only need route direction do not accidentally read every answer.
