Current demo status
As checked on August 8, 2026, the official Big Walk site, FAQ and Steam store page list the released game but do not advertise a downloadable demo. This is a status check, not a promise that a demo can never be announced later.
Use the official site or the platform store pages rather than third-party download listings. A listing that is not linked by House House, Panic, Steam, PlayStation or Nintendo should not be treated as an official demo.
Where to play the released game
The official FAQ lists Windows and Mac through Steam, the Mac App Store, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. It also says no other platforms are planned at this time.
The safest way to watch for a trial, free weekend or future demo is to follow the official site, the Steam product page and House House's official announcement channels.
Avoid unofficial downloads
Do not install files described as a Big Walk demo unless the download is linked from an official publisher, developer or platform storefront. Unofficial downloads can be outdated, mislabeled or unsafe.
